A visit away from home

I visited to Idyllwild….and it managed to lead me to Romona Trail Head.  Two days away from home but it seems home followed.  Free wifi, directly off the so called main road, and there I was.  So I ate my fresh baked scones and home made lemon curd and headed a slightly different direction.  I met some very friendly  strangers who were nice enough to not ask my name or too many questions.  The so called nature lovers/conservationist, they were less friendly. Didn’t even offer an answer to my queries.  I find more and more I relate more to the average person, leading the so called average life. Those on a mission too often get caught up in their own self importance and in the process the elite feelings they have become a barrier between them and the rest of the world. And, frankly, barriers are not good.
